Happy new year to all!! 2010 is looking like it's going to be a BIG year for us here at Elevated Press. Thanks to all who have been supporting us over the past year! We truely appreciate it and look forward to building more with all of you in the future! We have some new releases dropping this February like Aphonic's 'Boogeyman/Polarize' (available feb. 3rd) and Touchphonics 'Stop Schemin/Always On My Mind (drops feb. 17th) so keep an eye out for those.

Another big night inside Shelter. Thanks to all the new faces who made it out for this, and to Aphonic who murdered their set! Stay tuned for more on them because we will be dropping a single of theirs in the up and coming months! Huge amounts of praise to Lisa for the kick ass design work. You are the best!

This should be a good time. Reyka, Touchphonics, and The Heights will be tagging from from 2am-3am rolling out some techy hard in your face vibes. A huge line up to boot, all on the killer 103 Harriet sound system. Not to be missed!

EPR003-TOUCHPHONICS-"HEAD KNOT/UP IN ARMS"-PRESS RELEASE:
You may not have heard of Touchphonics yet, but this San Francisco based producer is a fresh faced artist with some old skool flavour to his tracks that has been working the US crowd into a frenzy with his esoteric beats.
Elevated Press is Touchphonics' own label, and for his thrid release he's wheeled out some seriously stepping drums and hardcore bass with some dirty late '90s Full Cycle vibes.
'Head Knot' takes the lead with an entrancing half-time intro and live sounding drums before layers upon layers of weighty bass drop into the mix with crazy percussive samples and intriguing use of edits.
Backing that up is 'Up In Arms' another slice of gutter-funk with stepping drums, cheeky vocal snippets, and tonnes of bass! There's no mistaking that this release is as leftfield as it comes, but it's got plenty to say for itself. Don't sleep!

Originality!!! Touchphonics is really coming with his own sound on this new one. "Blockhead" is an infectious drum and bass track. A deep bouncing beat with a space like feel. The lead line probes through the thumping 808 and dropping bass line like aliens to your brain! This will get your body moving! The B-side "Minimal Mind Fuck" comes with a more jungle influenced style. Choppy drums and two moving bass lines drive this tune. This one is for the lovers of drum work!
